- The relationship between the perception of security and governance in Colombia was studied. The thesis explores the reasons behind the disparity between data about Colombia’s security conditions and the evolution of Colombians perception of their own subjective security.
The analysis of public opinion surveys and official data, when contrasted, make evident the interconnected relationship between the incumbent presidents and the levels of governance.
